NZATEAP is an association of people involved primarily in tertiary student accommodation.  A wide range of people are members of the association including Heads and Deputy Heads of Halls and Colleges, Managers, Accommodation Officers and Administrators.  Each of the six chapters across the country meet 2-5 times per year for mutual support, encouragement and learning.  Chapter meetings activities include, informing one another of recent events and activities, discussion on common areas of concerns, inviting speakers to address relevant issues and identifying key projects to work on together.

As a member of NZATEAP you have access to professional development initiaitves includin regular newsletters, salary survey results for Heads, an induction programme for those new to the industry, accreditation peer review process, professional development days and conferences.

Working in such a demanding and diverse role requires a wide range of competencies and resources.  NZATEAP enables networking with others in the tertiary accommodation industry to develop the necessary skills and resources needed to be successful.
